NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) - Fall Testing
Monday, September 21, 2020 - Friday, November 11, 2020
Kindergarten - Fifth Grade

Prior to Test Day

1. Make sure your child’s device has an Internet connection. 

2. Make sure your device meets testing requirements using the Workstation Diagnostic Tool.

3. Make sure your child has headphones (Grades K – 2 and students with text to speech accommodations). Please contact Dunaire Elementary if headphones are needed. 

4. Watch the MAP Growth Introduction Video

On Test Day

1. Minimize distractions for your child as much as possible.

2. Provide a quiet testing environment.

3. Follow all instructions from the teacher/proctor.

Attention Families and Community Members: Atlanta Music Project
Attention 3rd -5th Graders:

Do you like to sing?? Well now, here's your time to shine!

The Atlanta Music Project Virtual Choir is taking applications TODAY for singers in grades 3-5. The program is absolutely FREE with a one time registration fee of $25. The chorus is 9 weeks for 1 hour a day on Thursday evenings - 4:15 pm -5:15 pm or 5:30 pm -6:30 pm. Let Ms. Cook, our Music teacher, know if you have any students that are interested!!!

D.C.S.D. Partners with Atlanta Community Food Bank 

Beginning August 27th, and every Thursday,  Atlanta Community Food Bank will distribute food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at *Clarkston High School, Chapel Hill Middle School, McNair Middle School and Sequoyah Middle School. The meal distribution will coincide with the district’s grab and go meal service.

In addition, DeKalb County School District’s School Nutrition services provides a two-day meal package during virtual learning on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at all DeKalb County Schools.

Dunaire Elementary Student Chromebook Distribution

All registered students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade will receive a DCSD Chromebook for instruction.
* Registered students in grades third- fifth grade will receive their DCSD Chromebook starting August 17, 2020 from 8:00 am until 12:00pm. 
* Registered students in grades kindergarten - second grade will receive their DCSD Chromebook in September 2020.

Please click here to complete the DCSD Digital Dreamers Device User Agreement. Parents will need their child's student Id to complete the form. Parents and students must sign the agreement. Please print out the online copy of your completed DCSD Digital Agreement and bring it to the school when you pick up your child's DCSD Chromebook.**Please wear your masks and practice social distancing when you pick up your child's DCSD Chromebook. 

Every registered student must have a printed online copy or paper copy of the DCSD Digital Dreamers Device in order to receive a DCSD Chromebook.  If you are unable to complete your child's DCSD Digital Dreamers Device User Agreement online, we will provide an agreement for you to complete.

Clarkston High School has announced a call for parent and community members who are interested in serving on the Principal Advisory Council’s Construction Advisory Committee (CAC) for a significant E-SPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) capital improvement project.
