The DeKalb County School District is announcing three public meetings to discuss redistricting (attendance area adjustment) in the Stone Mountain and Clarkston clusters.

This redistricting effort could potentially address additional capacity created by the newly rebuilt Rockbridge ES facility, as well as the overcrowding of elementary, middle, and high schools in the Stone Mountain and Clarkston clusters.

This redistricting could potentially impact the following schools:

Allgood ES, Dunaire ES, Hambrick ES, Indian Creek ES, Jolly ES, Rockbridge ES, Stone Mill ES, Stone Mountain ES, Freedom MS, Stone Mountain MS, Clarkston HS, and Stone Mountain HS.

All meetings will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm on the following dates:

Meeting 1: Thursday November 2, 2017 : Freedom Middle School

Meeting 2, Thursday November 30, 2017: Clarkston High School

Meeting 3, Thursday January 11, 2018: Rockbridge Elementary School
