Literacy Club

The Dunaire Literary Club is comprised of students from fourth to fifth grade that enjoy reading books, books, and more books.  The mission of our club is to enrich and expose students to quality literature. Club members will have an opportunity to display their knowledge of the books they have read by participating in the Annual Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl.

   

Boys Club

Dunaire Boys club is committed to building strong academics, social skills and College Prepared young men.  Activities to reach our goals include the following, a weekly study hall , social activities, and a annual trip to a college campus to expose our young men to their future college life.

Art Club

The Arts club at Dunaire Elementary school is made up of the 4th and 5th grade students with interests in the fine and dramatic arts. The Arts club offers the upper grade level students an opportunity outside of the scheduled class time to learn as well as to showcase special artistic and/or dramatic abilities.

The Arts club meets on Fridays from 2:30-3:30pm. Meeting times are subject to change to accommodate holidays and special events. In addition, the frequency of meetings may change as we get closer to performance dates.

Girls Club

Dunaire Girls' club is for female students in grades 2nd-5th. The purpose of the girls club is to allow young ladies the opportunity to have fun and fellowship with female peers. As a group we contribute to teacher appreciation, we contribute to community service, and we foster exposure to a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
